I don't like Titanic, either. But I also think Kate's a great actress! She really made the film worth watching. She plays very sensitive and emotional, I think. You can see so much in her face. She's gonna be amazing in ESOTSM. And she's so beautiful. But I'm excited how Jim and her fit together coz they're very different. Ok what i want to know is why you guys dont like the move Titanic cuz that is like one of the best films ever! And the reason why you think its overrated (i dont) is cuz thats what really went on in the ACUAL TITANIC! Its History! so i dont know why you guys dont like the movie and Leo Dicapro, what did he not do to make you guys not like him? Well personally for me I just found the movie extremely long and boring and I understand that it's history but there are lot of movies that were based on historical events and I don't see them being that hyped. The movie was not as great as people said it was and I don't think it deserves being the highest grossing movie of all time. People only loved it because it was a fad at the time, I know my own cousin saw it like 5 times in the theater just because she had a 2 month crush on Leo at the time and all her friends loved the movie and him. She even says now that she don't know how she sat through it that many times. I don't know how she did either. I had trouble sitting trough it once. It was too long and dragged out and Kate is a great actress but her and Leo had zero chemistry. I think it is mainly because Leo is so girly and he is not believable in romantic leading man roles. That's my problem with him. I have trouble watching him in anything because he just comes across so girly to me. Be a man Leo!<br><br>Besides it's not like it's the only movie about the Titanic that was ever made. There were older ones that were much better. The only thing I liked about that movie was the song at first but then they played it so darn much that I actually began to hate that too. That had to be the most over-hyped movie of all time and it was so not worth it. I actually like Pearl Harbor better and while I agree it was not the greatest movie and most people didn't like it and it was long and drawn out in parts it was just as good as Titanic was historically speaking and I found it much easier to sit through and yet it didn't even come near to the hype Titanic got.<br><br>We all have differnt views on this and like I said before I am one of the few people who hated it but I see that some people on here agree with me so I'm glad I'm not totally alone in this. I have respect for historical movies though and I just don't think this version of it did it any justice. I never once slammed Kate as an actress. Just because I hated that movie does not mean that I hate her. I actually think she is pretty great and looking past her roles as an actress I think it's great that she is one of the few actresses who is not obsessed with being a size 2. I have always applauded her for that. As for Leo, like I said before I just never liked him. Do I have to have reasons? I think him acting girly is enough of a reason. If not then let's just say I don't know what it is but I just never liked him. I know a lot of people who don't like Jim and think I'm nuts for liking him so much but I rarely question why they don't like him and if I do, most can't give me an answer. There are some actors you love and some you hate. Everyone is different and I respect that. You don't always have to give reasons for hating them. Maybe you're just not interested in the roles that they take. That's been another problem with Leo for me. But I'll end it here. Let's just leave it at not everyone liked Titanic and you can't change that even if it was the highest grossing movie of all time. Case closed.<br><br>Melanie <p></p><i></i>

Well, I can't say that I hated Titanic, it's just not my kind of movie. Okay.. well.. I don´t hate Titanic..it´s just that this movie is sooooo depressing.. I haven´t seen it yet (I have!) cuz I had these damn tears in my eyes. I cried from the beginning to the last cut.. <br><br>sorry.. but Titanic is a NONO for me.. because of that.<br><br>and Leo.. I enjoy Anthony Hopkins almost as much as Jim. How can you top the Silence of the lambs movies all of those were good! That just goes to show you how if it has a good script a sequel can top the original. And let's not forget the Edge!
