Yep, he's been my favorite since Once Bitten. He was SO young and cute in that movie.

But actually, and it could be because i'm around his age, I like him better now that he's matured. He's "grown" into his looks.

mary
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Peter Appleton: I can't stand this constant nagging. My other fav actor!

Postby thecablegal » Wed Jul 16, 2003 2:32 pm

Mine has to be Mike Myers... I seem to like Canadian actors, without even realising it! I've liked Jim Carrey longer tho, since 1994, when Ace 1 came out, gosh, that is nearly 10 years now!

Re: favourite Actor next to Jim?

I used to have a favourite actor next to Jim and it was Luke Perry because I used to watch Beverly Hills 90210 and had a crush on him but since 1995 when I saw The Mask (which was the first Jim Carrey movie that I've ever seen) I couldn't take my eyes off of him and I then though that Jim Carrey's much cuter then Luke Perry but he's ok but Jim Carrey Rocks my World defenitly!, at present I don't have a favourite actor next to Jim Carrey, I only like him

Jen

My other fave actors are Owen and Luke Wilson, Ben Stiller and Ed Burns. The Cable Guy had Jim, Owen and Ben all together in the one movie, I loved that! I tend to like actors with a great sense of humour. George Clooney is another actor I love!

Jen

Postby mrsjec17 » Wed Oct 08, 2003 1:18 am

I don't know too much about Kate and I am one of the few people I know who hated Titanic but I have to say she does sound great in Spotless Mind and I'm very much looking forward to it.

But as far as actresses go, Jen is my favorite. She is so funny and I have always loved her on Friends. Her being in Bruce Almighty I think just made it even better. Plus I have seen her in a lot of interviews and she does seem really down-to-earth. I loved her on Oprah with Jim and I think they have awesome chemistry together plus they seem to have a lot in common. Both are comedic actors trying to be taken seriously. If you don't know what I mean, see The Good Girl, Jen rocked in that movie! I hope that her and Jim work together again!

Melanie

I totally agree with you Melanie about Jen, she was great in Bruce Almighty and I also hope her and Jim work together again also. I've gotta see The Good Girl, I haven't seen it yet but I want to. You've made a great point about Kate too, I haven't seen Titanic and don't care about that movie but Kate sounds very great in etsotsm and can't wait to see it when it come out on November 14th

Kate

Postby gothichyppie » Wed Oct 08, 2003 8:49 pm

Yeah Kate's awesome in Eternal Sunshine I'm sure, just the fact that she has an American accent for the part is quite impressive.... I enjoyed Titanic but Heavenly Creatures (which I highly, HIGHLY suggest) is one of the movies I own and well, Kate simply kicks ass in it! VERY glad she's in a movie with Jim!
A n d r e a
Edited by: gothichyppie at: 10/8/03 9:53 pm

Heavenly Creatures. I think I've heard of that. I guess I'm going to have to try and see that one. But you brought up a good point about the American accent, that will be great. She had and did a good job with it in The Life of David Gale. The whole time I was watching that movie I was like, "Wow! Her British accent is gone!" That always does amaze me how they can do that. LOL Anyway, yeah I guess Kate's not that bad. I just hated Titanic and it wasn't really because of her I just thought it was way over-hyped and Leo is soooooo annoying!

Anyway getting back to Jen for a minute, yeah I highly recommend The Good Girl. She kicked major butt in that movie. And talk about different accents, she had a pretty good southern accent in that movie. And it was a very dark role for her but she was excellent in it. And on a side note, Jake Gyllenhall her co-star in it is a cutie!

Melanie
