Oh...something else. My little cousin is amazing. Just the kindest sweetest unspoiled thing. When I got sick she said, "Now Maggie's not going to have Jill around to do all the cool things she did with me! I guess I'll have to do those things with Maggie." I taught her how to make marbled Easter eggs and took care of her last year when she was sick at school and walked over to Grandma's house (close to the school) because she couldn't reach anyone by phone. Poor duck at a 101 degree fever, too. Her mom was in the same class as my brothers, but she never did much with me. I absolutely idolized her, but she was focused. She had the foresight to get a degree, get married...sign on with a major company... have ONE child...work a LOT and made it to global money master.
Which is cool. But not as cool as having all your friends over for a pizza party to watch your cousin win 20,000+ on Jeopardy.
I jest.
Anyway, she is so without malice. She plays basketball and they played a team from "town" recently. That means they played a team with mostly black members. One girl from the other team got knocked down hard and my cousin interrupted play to go see if she was alright and help her up. She is a terrific person. I can't imagine what she's going to amount to when she's fully grown...but I have a lot of respect for her.
