Online stalking....kinda

I found out about this realy great site called Google earth, its just amazing it is a complete world map of satalite photos so you can see anywhere in the world. I was curius to see my house in all its glory, kids playhouse and swing all clearly visable. So I thought...maybe I can see Jims house and sure enough using one of those find the stars houses map I found Jims house in no time at all. It does help that he has a tennis court and pool in his back garden ....does make finding his house easier than mine !!!.

..........that sounds kinda creepy.........but i recall that the satellite took the earth pics a few years back............they're not recent, perhaps Jim wasn't living there at the time........

The heavily populated areas have fairly recent pictures, the one over my house is was taken less than a year ago I know as I have had wall built in my garden which saws very clearly...its a realy a great site. Ive been to New york Sydney and paris all in about half an hour...its free to..go on have a look, Manhatton looks great from it.

My village was all blurred when I tried to go close up. I guess we weren't so important when they did the pictures.

Did find a lovely view of my friend's house in Kentucky though.

That stalking thing would be kind of creepy with everyone knowing everything about you. I keep thinkng of that movie with Sigourney Weaver "Carbon Copy" A few years in Hollywood, paparazzi and a tiny scandle would leave most people a bit neurotic don't you think?

I like maps. While I was playing around with it my computer almost croaked again so I removed it.....but it was really awesome thanks trish.

Ive sin a pic of jims house before now... but i did hear about google earth but i hadnt checked it out... ill have to now.. sounds interesting...
