Mmm...the creamy garlic Tuna Helper was so goooooood!
I figured it would either be really tasty, or really not tasty.

Garlic is good for you! I LOVE it! It's an essential ingredient in most everything I like to make.

Speaking of which....I told grandma I'd make bruschetta...I'm sitting here in pyjamas drinking coffee. I'd better get motivated.

I LOVE those, but they give me a tummy ache
I used to eat straight garlic when I was 15, and got teased by my family!
I eat it sometimes, but not very often. It helped me because I had chronic bronchitis as a teenager.

When I was little, I'd walk across the street to my grandparents' grocery store and get a can of tuna and a can of spinach and eat them both together.

My mom gave me a lot of both of those foods. She used spinach to make what we called 'stuffaronis', those Italian big hollow pasta tubes, which she stuffed with cheese, spinach and egg and other stuff mixed together. They were really good. We were convinced about the Popeye thing.
she also made us eat Swiss Chard, yuck and other green stuff.

I just found some in my cupboard, they are called Manicotti. Her grandmother was Italian and Spanish mixed, so it was these types of foods and Enchiladas.
