I've never seen that Howard Stern interview... does Jim talk much about women? LOL, he must 'cause it's Stern... what did he say??

Yeah, she's still Linda Ronstadt, and she was hot back then. And she is 60 years old now.
Not that I don't agree with everything else said...but can you imagine she's 60 in that picture.

....and Linda was stunning.....but he was 21 remember, he would have been flattered by all the attentions too..........lol.....they basically lived the fantasy.......the older teacher and the willing student........'good on them' :wink:

He said that Linda was one of his favorite girlfriends, they remain friends to this day. He said they dated for a few months, she introduced him to a lot of people, she lived in Brentwood and he became so enamored with the area he knew that when he made the big bucks he wanted to live there... He said their relationship was never serious, they both were dating a lot of different people. He met his first wife, Melissa, around the same time.

I personally love Linda Ronstadt, the poor woman has been through hell and back. She also has a serious health condition that caused her weight gain. She was looked at as a sex symbol who sang like an angel, now all people say about her is how fat she is. I suggest you listen to her albums she did with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, her album of traditional Mexican songs called, "Canciones de mi Padre" or "Trio" with Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton. Whatever happened between Linda and Jim is their business, Linda still sings like an angel even if she no longer looks like one.

awe...........she was a time in his life.....i hope it was a good time........but who cares what she looks like now??.....as long as she's happy, reasonably healthy and surrounded by good people surely that's enough.....
