I watched the Jonathon Ross film review show last night...He didnt like FWDAJ which I've already mentioned but he thought Get Rich Quick...was great but Empire only gave it one star, also he said A Cock and Bull story was poor and confusing but Empire gave it 4 starts and said it was refreshingly initiative. Just goes to show you gotta make up your own mind.

That is sooooo true.
I used to think that an Empire five star ratings was the ultimate endorsement and sign of a classic. But now, even they've been questionable in their judgement, I think.

I guess we all just like what we like and we're all different.

Many films that have turned into "classics" got less than marvellous reviews on their release.

yeah............it's just disappointing.........jonathan has always been a staunch advocate of Jims work.................but he seems to want Jim frozen as Ace Ventura.........
