Actually, Jim came out and did a really funny "roast-like" tribute to Ron Howard. He was presenting the film "The Grinch" but before that he did a 3 or 4 minute stand up routine all about Ron Howard. He was doing the jokes as if they were remembering Ron as if he had passed away even though Ron Howard was sitiing right in front of him laughing hysterically. The one joke they showed in the promos was, "...Ron is tough. He's done a couple of films with Russell Crowe now and there's not a mark on him." My favorite gag was (I'm paraphrasing here) I loved him as Ernie Douglas on "My Three Sons" and he's truly amazing on "CSI: Miami" The man really knows how to work with a gun...
Jim and Jeffrey Tambor stole the show... Last edited by carreyd away on Tue Jan 10, 2006 5:00 am, edited 1 time in total.
Careful, its the slippery slope downwards with the way this thread is going (maybe I should re-phrase !!)
