I got my copy of Empire (the movie mag) today and as it's their 200th edition they have run a huge poll citing the "Top 200 things that rocked their (movie) world" since they launched in the late '80s.
Coming in at Number 34:
*drumroll please*
Jim Carrey!!!
Listing his key films as: Ace, Mask, D&D, Man on the Moon, Truman Show, Bruce and (my personal fave!) ESOTSM!!
The poster for The Truman Show also came at number 57 as an entry by itself!!!

Oh yes, I forgot to mention FWDAJ was reviewed too. Doh. Although they gave it an average three stars, I liked the fact they said Jim was at his slapstick best and had a good rapport with Tea Leoni.
Loved the quote by the pic too: Their sixth sense told them they were being followed. They are so funny with their photo quotes.
And while we're on about Empire, may as well chip in with the fact REM's The Great Beyond from Man on the Moon was listed as a 'top movie soundtrack of their lives'!!!
Good news all round.
Pity there wasn't a Jim interview to boot.

No offense,Quirks, but you really should get checked out for bird flu. It sounds like you turning into a bird. You bawk an awful lot lately. I think that could be one of the symptoms. Have you been getting a urge to peck lately?
