That yellow photo is dee-licious!! **swoon**

The scan look fine. The problem with scanning magazines is the paper they use is thin and printed on both sides, so when the scanner light scans the page sometimes the back side bleeds through. Plus the print and photos are usually a series of dots, called half-tone. Maybe that's why you are having such a hard time getting a clear scan.

Thanks so much for sharing them!

Another reason could be that the book is to big. 10 x 13 inches is pretty big for a magazine.

Cotton, I think the problem is maybe that you could be scanning the pages on a lower dpi. Try scanning it at around 300dpi... that will make it come out around 3 times larger than it actually is. But once you've scanned it, don't resize it. That way it should stay large. Also if you're scanning via Photoshop, there's usually a little box you can tick in the scanner page that is for magazines.

Edited by: Belbee at: 5/24/04 3:54 am

Quote:
Did you ever love someone so much that you considered suicide at the end of the relationship? Speechless!

Postby Canadian Jayne » Thu May 27, 2004 2:08 pm

It's hard to know what to say to give comfort at this time. I think most people who think about suicide eventually think about the people they leave behind and then change their mind. Sometimes though life gets so hard, that's why we all need each other, to give kind and loving words.
Your right, big hug and hope.
