I'm not sure what he's said to you JT, but I'm sorry thaty you're feeling hurt by it all. I can only go from what I've seen of Jim and that's only from TV. I've never met him before so I don't know how he is in person. I've heard him say in interviews that he loves his fans and likes it when they come up to him and tell him how much they love him. I've heard him say that a few times. As for the dirty look at Conan... I dunno, maybe there's something more to it that none of us know, who knows! I don't see him giving them a dirty look for just saying that they love him, that seems a bit much. I don't find him all that bitter either. He's always been an intense guy, so that kinda just continues. Maybe there are things going on at the moment that noone else knows about. I mean there's those articles that were written from the set of Lemony Snicket which was never proven, but maybe there's more to it. I dunno. I love Jim, I think he's an amazing person. Like I've said I've never met him, so I can't really comment on that. But from a distance over here in Australia... well I never told him I loved him or his movies or any of that stuff so maybe he's mad that I didn't and wanted to get mad at me I dunno, and yea, I've heard other stories about the Lemony set that weren't published (I heard them from friends on the set) but I usually don't believe everything that's published, I'm just sick of everything being such a struggle with him, you never know what to say to him cuz he gets offended by it, at least that's the case with me. I don't suggest jumping of a building! lol! Maybe just take a break from all the Jimmyness... I don't know. Maybe after awhile you'll want to come back into the fandom, like I said tho I don't know. In the past I've found that if I spend too much time and effort so to speak on someone, after awhile I burn out and I do need a break from it all to re-evaluate things. I don't think he would have been offended by you not telling him that he loved you. I don't know what when on, but maybe he was just in a bad headspace, that's just a guess tho.

I believe you. Maybe its just hollywood, money does change people. I never knew you know Jim Carrey. He has so much money now he doesn't even know who's his real friends anymore. I hate to think he's that way to his fans, but it doesnt shock me.

well I'm not like his best friend but he knows who I am, I just hate seeing him the way he is and it makes me so sick I want to just stop being his fan, maybe thats selfish of me, but why does he refuse to treat me like he treats other fans? Pffft. I dunno what to say. All I know is that Juliette is one of the most SANE persons I have ever met. And the one that truly seems to love Jim for who he is and not mask his flaws for herself. If *anyone* is not a stalker and has given proper thought about his interiour life other than the shell, it's Juliette. Everyone has flaws. Jim is a complicated person. Maybe you're so sick of him because you see so much of yourself in him. The good parts is okay, but the parts you like less is tough to look at. I've been tumbling about weither to write this down or not, but I think I will now. With the risk of sounding like a complete maniac...guys...here are my feelings. And for that legemite. There has never been a person on this planet I feel more of a bond with than Jim. And you know what? It friggin drives me crazy. Why? Because society freaks out on stuff like that. Society is so damn afraid of LOVE. More specificly of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE that goes BEYOND dating or sexes or anything like that. The kind of love that you love someone so much you can let that person go. Cause we're living in a world where people are so craving love that they become SCARED of it. Not because they are craving it, but what they are afraid what other people would think of that. unconditional love is the freakiest thing for people.Just because they wish they could have it themselfs. But society then yells SELFISH and FREAK because it's trying to overyell it's OWN feelings. but can you say: I want love or I love you? NO. Because society tries to teach people should be thinking about what they own all day and status and Love is vulnerable and when you're vulnerable society decides you're WEAK while you're actually STRONGER than anyone. Cause then society get's scared because you're real and stronger and it has no control over you anymore. Just look at Jim in the globes speech. He said "I just love people". He was honest about that. And he was so friggin scared of that, so vulnerable, because he's afraid that the answer will be, "But we don't love you, kiddo." he made a face right after it to mask it. To unpower it. And what I think he meant with that, is the love I recognise when I see people on the street no matter how ugly they are, having their small moments, or the tears I feel inside reading the newspaper someone, somewhere on the world, is in pain. And there is nothing I can do about it. When I see people struggle with their life, trying to make the best of it I just feel so much for that. People touch me. Juliette writing this here down touches me. Why? Because I care for her as a person. And a whole heck a doodle lot. I rather read deep stuff like this then discussing Jims hair. And at times it's fun to dabble in to that, but when it all boils down, Jim means more to me than just his looks and his movies. So basicly, Juls, what this all boils down to is that you just love Jim unconditionally and that you're afraid of rejection by him, and afraid of the rest of the world not understanding it and putting the label FAN on it. While it's not about the movies, or the looks, it's not about the surface. Or people putting the word STALKER on it, while it's something right neatly inbetween FAN and STALKER. Just, real love for a human being. And yes, I'm pretty damn sure Jim can be a real @#%$ at times, but that doesn't have to do with YOU. It can be because of anything. I think on Conan, for example, he might just not have liked himself so much that day, felt insecure, or bitter or whatever. And when people are pouring love all over him then I think he just then doesn't know what to do with that. So makes a choice that might not be the smartest, a small moment, a snippet of a day, but because it's being taped all over ALL he's judged by is THAT little moment. We all get cranky. We all get bitter. Some people get it more than others. And that's frustrating to see at times because it's a persons interiour life and you can't fix that. You can hint but you're powerless. So don't be insecure about what he or the rest of the world thinks of you, just be YOU and it will ALWAYS be okay. I've realised that I've become more interested in the people itself behind the people that like him. I'm not interested in what Jim does or how he looks but in HOW HE IS. And what he thinks. So the you can't talk about anything else than Jim on this board kind of rule kind is silly to me. I've changed over the years. So what I read in Juls post is really recognisable. I'm sick of discussing Ace III. I don't care about actual movie quotes. Top ten lists.I'm not looking down on them, I cannot explain what the line is here, it's just not my entire world anymore. Of course, there's a small part. But it's not ALL. So, what I actually mean Juls, is... Just like you I really like reading up on all these boards, but I've just also realised I'm wasting to friggin much of my DAYYYY doing so. Stop worrying about Jim hating you, stop trying to convince yourself that he probably does, because trust me from what I've been able to pick up (especially through his bitter less "fun" moments) is that he doesn't intent to make you think he hates you. Or dissapoint his "fans." In fact I believe if you wanna make him have a nervous breakdown anyone, just walk up to him and say "You are treating your fans like dirt." Even while this is not true, it will hit him like nothing else, because that's I think the EXACT thing he worries about and is afraid of. Because he *has* days that he doesn't like himself as much as a lot of the world does and then he knows he's not being the "professional Celeb" way about it. here's the deal Juls. What I really value in our friendship is that you dare to say to me "I don't feel like talking right now" or "I'm depressed" or "I'm pissed off." also sharing your dark side. And your fears. And when you're extremely happy and just in a silly mood you share that too. You're not putting on the neutral mask. You're giving 98% while to others you might give 25%. And I think, when Jim said you he was tired of getting pictures taken, that day, for just a glimpse he showed you a bit more than the usual 25% he shows when he's doing his I'm all chipper act. What I love about Jim is that in total, all he does combined he shows 98% of himself. (and that has grown over the years, he's been daring to spew true opinions more and more). Most people only see or want to see the 25%. You see more. Poke through the shell. Most celebs only show 25% all the time. They're the same in all they do. I don't know about you Juls, but I rather have the 98% with the bad stuff included that 25% while you know there has to be more than that. I think he knows darn well he's a nobody without his fans and he loves them and respects them, but at times it gets too much and he does human things. At times he's just scared, I bet. Cause there could be a stalky nutcase between all the casual fans that will harm his loved ones, not even perse him. All I know is Juls, that nutcase, it ain't you. Stop sitting down worrying about weither Jim likes you or not, cause he just will. Period. Why? He's like you. He's like me. I love you. Just stop waiting for oppertunities to happen but MAKE them happen. Call George tomorrow. We should stop waisting our time roaming the message boards ALLLL DAYYYY reading empty stuff about what kind of hair day looks better on Jim and how badly everyone likes to meet him and OMG what did he exactly say THERE!!!?? What quote was this and that from? And about how about everybody wants to f0ck his brains out. Saving images on our computer. We know what the guy looks like. Some days he will have a bad hair day. Some times a good one. We have things to do, our OWN life to make happen in staid of watching Jim living his. We should set goals for ourselfs make them happen. We've been putting it away way too long because it's scary. We make our OWN life happen and if meant to be Jim will blend into that life all by itself. I don't know about you, but I've been wasting a lot of time, having dreams but setting no particular goals in making them happen, just sitting down feeling sorry for myself. I'm sick of that. I wanna go live at your place? Well then I better get off my ass find a way to make money to do just so. I want to act? Then I better do what it takes to do just so. It should be fun if you end up in Lemony Snicket, and I'm still rooting extremely much for that. But if that fails, not the end of the world, because there will be MORE projects and you deserve a whole lot more than just extra work the rest of your life. Maybe handy to earn that extra couple of bucks to get new headshots or pay the backstage West. But then it's on to more. It's gonna be one hell of a trip, and I'll be there for you every friggin rejection and dissapointment and every triumph and step further. well I'm a guy, I'm not loving Jim in the way you may love him, I love his sense of humor (since I'm also joking about every piece of @#%$) in his movies and when he is in the public, like red carpet, interviews or talk-skows. Actually I give a @#%$ on his hair, how he looks, what he does etc. but I respect Jim as a great actor and as a funny guy. If you now think the world collapses only coz Jim is in a bad mood, I can't really understand it. Jim is a human like you and me, he can't smile and grin 24/7. He knows himself that without his fans he would be nothing, I didnt saw this Conan show so I cant judge about wot he did there, but I know that this show is an entertainment show, so everything is just "show". I read the playboy interview, and its really interesting, it shows that Jim knows whats going on in the world. Some of the persons on this board may be some of the biggest fans, but I'm sure there are also many big fans, who just can't use the internet or just dont want to use it, so dont think you are the only fanatic maniacs. Why the @#%$ would Jim hate you? He would never hate any person, except annoying paparazis, but also in this case he knows that they only do their job, so he doesnt really "hate" them. well I dont know what to say, I just feel stupid. thie world sucks, why does there have to be a seperation between fan and celeb? maybe I'll just continue to be a fan and rip his clothes off trying to ask for autographs or something. I really don't think he dislikes you. He doesn't know you well enough and maybe he's got the wrong impression of you. Maybe he likes you but you're not seeing it because it's hard to be objective when you admire a person a lot. It's difficult to analyze since we don't know what he's said to you and what you've said to him. What exacly did he say?
