Close encounters of any kind ??

Postby trishroberts » Mon Nov 14, 2005 9:50 am

I'm curious to find out about the people here (his most devoted fans) who have actually had an enounter with our hero. The closest I've been is to be in the same city as him at the same time !!. A Close encounter of the 1st kind would be something amounting to a conversation with him one to one, 2nd would be, say at a premier, yelling Jim with crowds of others and 3rd would be seeing him at a distance. How do you fair ?? Anyone who gets closer than the first kind....well...what can say..I wish it was me

I've had close encounters some of the first kind, some, well, I don't know. I've had a few conversations with him. The first via telephone and binoculars, me telling him that I am obsessed with his upper lip while he was on a boat with some of my friends in the ocean in front of me as I sat on the beach. Very silly, I know. Another time at a "before breaking for the holidays" party on a film he and I worked on.

This is what I think and correct me if I am wrong....I do sense things and ever since I have been on here I sense more of him but anyways....I feel like he is a spirit trapped in a human body and that hurts him sometimes cause he really wants to be seeing as a spirit and not as human.

I feel he has more love than he can give and wishes he could give it more often but with his situation does not allow him to do this without freaking him out....

Correct me someone.... :?:

I know it messed me up too for a second i had to take a moment and regain my composure.
I had a close encounter with Jim, it was right after he divorced his second wife, he came over to my house for dinner, and now he lives with us. I'm not lyin' either.

Sadly it's not the same Jim we all know and love, my Grandpa's name is Jim :?

Seen Jim 4 Times

Postby FutureStar1977 » Mon Dec 05, 2005 7:55 am

Well, I have seen Jim quite a bit and have met him twice.

When I first moved to LA, he was the first celebrity for me to see. He was in his black convertible Mercedez.

The second time I met him at the Bruce Almigthy premiere. I have great pictures! I shook his hand.

The third time was at a taping of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

And the fourth time was I met and talked to him after a screening for Eternal Sunshine. He was so sweet. I have heard stories here about "guard" issues. But when his guard tensed up that night, Jim looked at me and then at his guard. Jim put out his hand towards him and said, "No, its okay." Then he came over to talk to me.

He looks like he does in his films but better! Man, he is super tall as well. LOL I am only 5'5", and he is 6'2". LOL
