I read somewhere yesterday that "Over the Hedge" is filming right now. Is this true? It says on IMDb, (The Internet Movie Database) that it is filming, but I dunno. I get all my movie information from there, but I dunno if it's all true. Mike myers is planning a 4th Austin Powers, and we know about it, but it isn't up on there yet! By filming, I think they mean that they have begun to work on the animation, but they may not necessarily be ready for the voice recordings yet. Animated films take a long time to produce.<br><br>I was actually lucky enough to attend a speech recently by Jeffrey Katzenberg, the co-founder of Dreamworks (the company producing OTH). Our company works with Dreamworks on some of their animated films. He was showing us some behind the scenes stuff from several of their upcoming animated releases like Shrek2 and Sharkslayer. <br><br>He also showed us the current character sheet for OTH (with RJ and Verne), so some pre-production has definitely been started. I was actually surprised how different RJ and Verne looked from the actual comic strip. Someone else described the film's RJ as looking alot like the racoon from Disney's Pocahantas, and I tend to agree with that description. <p></p><i></i>
