Jim did ace on Jonathan Ross!!!!it was the best Jim appearance ever!!!!

Re: Jim did ace on Jonathan Ross!!!!This was HANDS DOWN the BESTTT BESTTT interview!!!!

Lemme see...he was kinda way more relaxed somehow than in his usual interviews seemed a little less nervous and he was just purely having a blast.

the show first started out with all the guest waiting in this red room and Jonathan Ross the host is real funny and they would accationally peek into the room where you had Jim sitting back and grinning and smiling and goofing off grabbing photo's from the wall of Paul Mccartney and stuff like he does a lot lately, holding it in front of his face, then he proceeded while some other guest was there to "kiss" that man on the tv hahah the little tv in the red room that showed the show going on licking the screen and all that,

and then when that man came back in the red room he hugged/jumped with him in the air a bit.

Then some inbetween grins and then eventually it was his turn to enter the show.

(note the guests were announced by 4 man singing in red shirts real corny with Jims face printed on the red shirts) and they announced Jim with I am the Walrus and then he sat down with jonathan, ran to the singing man once, talked about the background of the set looking like FF;s..future farts,

they talked about farts ,they showed a clip of bruce, they talked about Jonathan digging the cable guy, Jim really seemed to dig that and he was all hyperhappy haha so when Johnathan asked him why he just said "I love the people of England and I want them to love me too".

I just dig how there is always a layer of honesty in our Jim man.
Anyway, they showed OLD STANDUP COMEDY FOOOTAGE OF Jim IN ENGLAND. when he was 22. Real awesome.

Jim ran to the band once more and they played themes humming through their nose hitting their throats together. Oh and they talked about Jims teeth too, why they were so damn straight and Jim said because they were fake and they goofed a bit about Plastic Surgery and Jim also joked about the Euro how English people are afraid of it, even stuffed a couple of Euro bills in his mouth.

He talked about being to Germany and having biked into the fountain and that that made the news there and that the reporters at the moment filming didn't know it was Jim Carrey and then he showed how his passport was soaked and then he showed the Bruce Poster (the michelangelo one) he had it folded in his pocket and they joked about penis size and he gave the poster to the band to oogle at.

And it all ended with a big finale of jonathan Ross getting a Kareoke machine and him and Jim singing "Wild thing" together, eventually knocking all the tables and chairs over and this other guest yelling, let's fight the band! and they proceeeded to goofely fight with the band, Jim pretending to let one of them hit his head with the piano.

A HILARIOUS SHOW!!! I DIG EVERY BIT OF IT!! WOOHOO!! PURE entertainment and Jim on his BEST!!! He was truly having a blast and it was obvious to see . Re: Jim did ace on Jonathan Ross!!!!oh and in a reply to some other post on this board...
I think it was different from his old goof stuff.
I think this time he didn't seem to be afraid to be unfunny in nervousness and that did him so much good . He seemed way more relaxed. What a fantastic interview...For those of you in the US, I'm sure it'll either get on the web, or on your screens in the states some time soon. You have to watch it, Jim was hilarious, as usual, got the cameras attention, away from the annoying Chris Tarrant, who's leg he later pretended to shag, as Cableclair said, when he was goofing around in the green room. Loved Jonny Vegas, the second comic interviewee, who's always drunk, but it was kinda annoying that he ran over into the band's time, and therefore Jim's time as well, but Jim made up for it in the only way he can, that man is larger than life, and @#%$, he was everywhere as he always is, which was great. You guys really have to hear 'Wild thing', sung by Jonathan and Jim, there's nothing like it, Jim is superb, and Jonathan's well, if you've ever heard the guy sing, you'll know what I'm talking about, he's chronically bad, it's fantasic. I loved Jim imitating the bag pips that Cable clair described as well, that was so funny! lol I also loved the way Jim trashed the stage at the end, he was so into it you could see he was really trying to rip some of the scenery that wouldn't budge, off the walls! lmao! I'm so glad I taped it, that's a classic, and he is so right about the Euro! Gotta go now! Jim rules, and I know he'll have no problems with Bruce Almighty in the u.k.

Fangz

ahhai thought the show was greaat i loved the bit with the passport and when he said "what do these guys do they just stare at you its like being in a zoo"talking about the band does anyone have pictures of him jumping in the fountain in germany ?it was certainly a sureal show how would have thought Jim and jonny vegas and chris tarrent on the same show weird...................

Yeah! It's so sad that I remember that exact quote OUT OF CONTEXT! It rocks though.

Someone either here or in another thread said about a layer of honesty coming through, and that's exactly what attracted me to him on the show. Like when he said he's always hungry, and can never be satisfied - you could tell that that was true.

My fave quote has to be about loving the people of England. But then I'm biased
