Cameron Diaz Eyed for 'Dick and Jane' Remake

No, not that kind of fun. <br><br>Although no offer is yet on the table and serious discussions have therefore not begun, Diaz has vaulted to the top of the list under consideration to star opposite Carrey in the title roles of Columbia Pictures' upcoming "Fun With Dick and Jane." <br><br><br>If Diaz sparks to the idea, she could find herself playing half of an economically distressed married couple that resort to a life of crime in the remake of the 1977 comedy that starred George Segal and Jane Fonda. <br><br><br>Barry Sonnenfeld is on tap to direct the project, which Brian Grazer will produce. <br><br><br>Diaz is, of course, no stranger to Columbia, which produced her next feature, "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," which Sony releases June 27. Diaz again? ...the girl is funny sometimes, but the problem is, there is no chemistry between Carrey & Diaz. If they really want a young girl to play with him they schould take Brittany Murphy. (Just Married). The other problem with Diaz is the fact that she just doesn't act the same natural-funny way as Jim... (she's good, no doubt, but not Jim-good) put Jim aside her en there you have it. The combination doesn't work.<br><br>Why don't they take a women that's really, really, really funny and acts natural, someone who thinks the same way about comedy then Jim. He takes comedy serious en thinks about every little move he does... Ellen DeGeneres does that too. I want her... <p></p><i></i>

I'd rather see Zeta Jones up there because Cameron isn't any good anymore. she really sucks now a days especially with this Charlie's Angels crap. she's so redundant now. maybe if she went back a few to The Mask and My Best Friend's Wedding she'd be good but now she just plain sucks. i'm with other people on this one. i wanna see someone new. i think Juliette or Claartje would be good but i'm looking at Zeta Jones. Ellen DeGeneres wouldn't be a good match. i don't see chemistry between DeGeneres and Carrey. they're two totally different comedians who have totally different styles. Zeta Jones would be cool to see with Jim. <p></p><i></i>

Hey<br>Well i think your very wrong about Cameron Diaz being not naturally funny. I also think she would be great along side Jim Carrey again. <br><br>How ever i do agree with you that Parker Posey could be very good along side Carrey... but not as good as Cameron Diaz for that part. <p></p><i></i>
