It struck me funny.

I bought a markdown book on Dali today and man...there's no doubt he was a genius.

I'm really looking forward to reading the biographical bits.

I think I "get" some of it now.

i've read the bio....... he was a very complex and bizarre man but there is no doubt he was an artistic genius............Technically he is superb....visually unique..........by far the greatest surrealist technically..........and some would say creatively too..........he puts a lot of 20th centuary psychodynamic thought into his work too........a lot of Freud and Jung............so his stuff for me is more interesting, than say Ernst.........
i think i mentioned somewhere that we have his crucifixtion in Glasgow and the moment i saw it i started to cry........thats' the first painting that has done that to me and i've seen an awful lot of paintings in my time..................

enjoy the book.......let me know what you think.....it's been ages since i read it............
i wonder if Jim owns any serious art...........??

I got wowed by "The Anthropomorphic Cabinet". I'm looking forward to really studying some of the others.

Painting connoiseur's u guys! I read Dali's short biography and found it interesting. It had a painting he did when he was 6 year old. It was beautiful... Some talents are ordained!

Oooh...there's the parable of the talents in the Bible. It talks about talents being taken away from those who don't develop them. All around me there is so much I could do...I need to get the motivation or I'm gonna be the gal in the parable of the talents who gets them all taken away due to failure to develop them.
