Mushy peas are in the little can. We had them for dinner last night.
And I think the pic looks like a painting, too.

yes, ranch dressing is good on cooked frozen peas.
oh, but i meant the mushy peas that you get with your fish and chips in the UK. they have a hint of mint or something added to them and they are actually smashed. i thought they were really good.
i personally don't like the canned peas &

Here's how I like peas:
1) Fresh
2) Frozen
3) Canned. When we had them the other night I told my grandma that they tasted like can.
I remember mushy peas now that you mention them SFS.

That photo is delicious...or did I mean the mushy peas?
Really, that is one of my favorites which was taken at Smashbox Studios in Culver City not far from my place at the time.
As far as mushy peas go...the closest we have to mushy peas in the States is split pea soup, which you can buy in the can (Andersen's) or visit one of their few restaurants (a few on the California Coast). I've ordered mushy peas in British Restaurants here in Los Angeles (my fav. is "Ye Olde Kings Head" in Santa Monica). Yum, yum. But there's nothing like a good Shepherd's Pie every now and again!
My best friend is from County Durham in the UK. She often sends yummy chocolates...my fav. is Cadbury Buttons. Double yum.
These are a few of my favorite things....
