The Best Man

I just found out that Jim was supposed to be in the movie called"The Best Man" I never saw this movie I just know it came out in 1999. Was Jim better off not doing this movie?

It was an all black comedy, like Soul Food or Brown Sugar. Not sure if that rumor is true or not...
