Something Majestic, is!

This movie is so under rated! I loved that 'feel' good movie, I just don't hear or see anything about it! Thats a puzzle to me, I've said it before that I think it was released in the wrong decade!

I think it is a great film too. It's is also my mother's favorite Jim movie. It's the only one she went out and bought.

This movie got totally crucified by the critics. Sometimes the very panning of a movie for being mawkish and unrealistic can be an indicator, for me, that I'm going to really like it. Life can be ugly enough that we all need a little mawk sometimes. I thought the flick was restorative.

I think this was Martin Landau's last movie. :(

He was great.

Anyway, this is my favorite Jim Carrey movie, commence with the throwing of the tomatoes and the large smelly fish.

This movie has soul to it and that's very rare in todays films. It makes you think. I get turned off by movies with lots of nudity and violence. That CGI crap has really gotten out of hand too. I love a movie with heart and a good story line.

I dunno, Jim ADC...I just looked at his filmography. It looks like he did do something called Hollywood Homicide in 2003...but it was "The Majestic" before that.

You know what? I don't do illegal drugs, but I completely thought Martin Landau was dead! Who am I thinking of? #-o
