What is your favorite scene and moment in a Jim Carrey Movie

At present:

I have to rewind and re-watch Renee Zilwhatever jump

off that train in Me-you and Irene. I think that is the absolute( if someone, especially your lover told you to
jump off a bridge, would you, minute) funniest thing
in laws of love. first he tells her to jump on, then he can't breathe and he trying to yell jump off. then she does and looks like she is going to be covered in prickers
from the bushes.

Then the moral, if someone tells you to do something
if even if it could kill you, would you? I replay that part
over and over. You have to have been put in that position to laugh as hard as I did.

Too many fav scenes!

Postby Nano75 » Fri Jun 07, 2002 5:53 pm

I thought about it... there's just too many scenes that are worth mentioning. I'll try it though:
- Ace 1: where he goes into the shower after he realizes
that Einhorn is a man
- Ace 2: where he throws the monopoly guy over his
shoulders pretending he's a fur collar
- Truman: at the end where he bumps on the wall with
his boat and starts smashing the wall. He looks so
despairing and in need of help!
- MOTM: where he lies in bed with Lynne and sings
"Rosemarie" for her and then kisses her...sigh
- ...
- ...

...
no, as I said there are too many. In his comedies I'm constantly killing myself laughing! I could tell you an endless list of scenes. Maybe that's the reason why nobody has left a message so far?

Nadine

favorite scene?

Postby Pressamarita » Fri Jun 07, 2002 6:43 pm

maybe?

there are so many for me too, but lighting farts came in second to that train jumping .

because that was a real love circumstance to the tee.how many times in my own life have I listened
like wilma and almost been killed? That scene is a classic, I swear.

what else. dumb and dumber had so many I cannot count. which movie was eating those baby
corns because to this mintute every time I get one at a salad bar I think of him.

I think when they found that case with the money and were borrowing was another, those toe nails!.

then I was cracking up in majestic but I wasn't supposed to be. It was surreal the way
those people started dancing and when he was playing the piano it was funny.

Fave scene

Postby GrinchyNikky » Mon Jun 10, 2002 5:16 pm

Well I have loads, but one I like is in Dumb And Dumber when the scooter back-fires kinda wobbles all over the show! Cracks me up everytime. I'm laughing just thinking about it!

Loads in Truman Show, coz that being my fave movie for crying at.

In answer to the question: It depends wot I was being asked to do. If it was jump off the train, I think my exact words would be, "F*** that." and I'd just carry on going. If it was, find Jim Carrey and propose to him in front of millions, I'd still say, "Urm, no." coz that would be extreamly embarrassin for both people. Urm... Although, Jim if you're readin, my number is +447736... *lol*

Luv Nikky

So many to chose from...

#1 Truman Show -- When he's in the revolving door trying to figure out if something is really going on. He spins around in it a couple of times, and you can see the internal struggle as he tries to decide if something weird is going on.

#2 Cable Guy -- "Somebody to Love" karaoke and porno password. Both scenes are just too funny.
