Remake of 'A Face in the Crowd'

I have heard that Jim is thinking about remaking the remarkable but somehow underappreciated 1957 movie, 'A Face in the Crowd' which starred Andy Griffith. I think a remake of this powerful movie , especially in this celebrity-crazed era of ours, is truly necessary and Jim would be perfect in the lead role.

Jim, PLEASE consider this strongly. Lonesome Rhodes could well be your oscar role...

I havn´t heard it. peterbyrnes wrote in the first message. It is a tragedy that there is no Jim Carrey in "Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy"? But probably it will be good movie without him. It a new very unusual director involved in the project. John Malkovich is also in it.
