That within the shy sensible Jane there is a young mini Jim. If something was to ever happen to Jim to result his death Jane would after take his place and deal with the same responsibilities as him. Not career responsibilities seen as how she wants to be a singer but being a Carrey makes you well known for being effective.

Jim doesn't read the media so Jane wouldn't either. So whats the point in reading what people are saying about them. Its not gonna get Jane down if she doesn't know about it. Some people like to waste there time writing stuff about her what she will never see it drains away there life but if thats what they want to do then let them. Replying to them will only just drain yours too. Life is too precious.

Jane has seen Jims success within his movies and the way he deals with fame is pretty impressive so she is just following in his footsteps but instead of being an actor she is being a singer. Her father is obviously an inspiration to her. Some singers are not famous they just sing in clubs but its obvious that Jane is desperate becoz she is becoming more well known by auditioning for american Idol. All she wants is something to store her effectiveness just like Jim has something to store his. Welcome to the club Jane I can tell Jim would be very proud of you.

Well I think he has said before that he needs to be in the right mood. If he is feeling depressed he stays away from it. I don't think I would be able to do it at all. I am way to sensitive.lol

On another note. Does it really matter that Jane arrived by appointment??? My email is full of google alerts saying how it was unfair.

No one had the brain to think that she probably had the appointment to avoid causing any confusion. Many people know she is Jim daughter. If she had stayed in line there could be paparazzi or something like that.

Jane is good, regardless if she is Jim's daughter or not. Sure it's an honor to be a part of that family, it truely is, but it's time she got her own respect she can earn without her father's fame. It's a great step, she'll go very far

People, most of us here saw Jane for the 1st time when she was a kindergarten schoolgirl. Since then we all remember Jane has always been good at music. I was amazed when I first heard her sing. She has a very beautiful well trained voice. I may work on the repertoire actually because I don't quite understand what kind of music she does. But she IS talented. I 've been doing music for many years (classical though and academic choir singing) and I can tell she is good.

As for mentionning Jim on the show - of course she had to mention him! It's a show, it has rating. Whether she wanted or not, they wouldn't miss showing him.

I really like her! She is natural, shy and kind - thanks to mom and dad.

I know exactly what she means I have a freind whose parents are far far richer than her dad and the pressure for the child to live up to the father is immense. They are always searching for a way to top what the father did. Everyone thinks their life is cusy bec you can ask parent for anything. Well my friend's parents make my friend and his sisters do it for themselves. They live very normally, drive cars ten years old the girls worked in offices in companies just like anyone else would. People don't realise that all that money isn't liquid cash it's tied up in investments and you have to go through financial boards to justify why you even want a £100 pounds. It's very diff to what people imagine...
