Jim Carrey pushed the boundaries of outrageousness in Paris when he daubed a smiley-faced penis on a poster for his new film I Love You Phillip Morris.
With his co-star Ewan McGregor and the assembled European press looking on in stunned silence, Jim produced a pot of red paint and a brush to leave his mark on the billboard-sized poster.
The stunt came at the end of an hour-long press conference at a posh hotel to promote the film, which tells the true story of conman Steven Russell,
who escaped from jail five times in the name of love, to be with Phillip Morris.
Russell is currently serving 144 years in prison in Texas, while his former lover makes a cameo appearance in the film.
