Yup, he plays the older version of Joe (I think that was his name)... he's only in it for like 5 minutes near the end and he also narrates the movie.

That's it. Makes you laugh and cry. Nice soundtrack, too. I love the film. And Jim has such an emotional narrating voice. *melts*

TERRIFIC MOVIE

Postby Canadian Jayne » Tue Aug 31, 2004 5:05 pm

I saw Simon Birch this weekend.
I too, laughed and cried at the end.
Jim was great as the Narrator.
He is seen in the beginning of the movie and the end
and his voice is usually throughout.
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed it and is worth seeing.
You don't see Jim on the cover of the vidoe case,
but I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the
Majestic type of Jim and appriciates looking for ones mission in life.

Since you've all seem to like the movie, I think I'll see it. After the exams that is.... Just if Jim Carrey's in it... and if you say laugh and cry, I'm going for it. I laughed and cried in Liar Liar and although Jim's not in this one too much, I'll still see it~! Thanks for getting me into it~
