Jim's gardens......what would you do?

Postby fluffy » Wed Jul 18, 2007 9:11 pm

lol....whilst i suspect Jim's garden is in the European style.....all heavy scented flowers, aged fountains and character, what would you do if you had 35,000 sq ft of gardens to design?
well i'd definitely keep the Anglo/Italian theme around the house, but then i think i'd also have a wild kinda theme. I'd want to encourage wild birds and animals, butterflies and flowers......then i'd have a wee smallholding. It's particulary therapeutic for Evan.....i'd have chickens, ducks, a shetland pony for Evan......riding is great for balance and empathy.....
maybe a few rabbits.......a lamb......and a little greenhouse for organic veggies............Evan could help grow food.......Jenny and Jim could eat it.......lol.......
and i'd keep the chill out zone.......but hopefully there would be more birds and butterflies.........and some gentle water features........and lots of plants with large leaf coverage to filter out the LA air.............

they could watch the sunset over LA with the air around them scented with exotic blooms, and listen to the birdsong and insects as they sing their chorus........geez, how romantic.........lucky devils......lol

i'd love for Jim to be at real peace with nature, he could look out his windows and see little deer, be woken by ducks and feel the beauty...it's only fair that he should be as happy as he makes theworld....... he has Jenny now so all he needs is a duck or 2...lol

from "I'm Gay" by bowling for soup:

"So put your left hand over your heart and repeat after me: It's perfectly fine to be a happy individual"
"No time outs. Only DEATH!"
"I don't like to brag and I won't cuz I don't have to!" Image
