GOOD topic! This is a really good topic! Well first, i can never be tired of Jim! But at school, when im around guys, especcially guys i like...i try to tone down the Jim juice cuz my friends tell me that the guys i like say the reason why they wouldnt want to date me is because they wouldnt be the number one man in my life...Jim would. sigh... So thats why i just think about him to myself (most of the time :P) But like my friends that like Jim dont mind when i talk about him...just not 24/7...and yes sometimes i feel like not watching a Jim movie..not cuz im tired of it, cuz i lovve them! But because i dont want people to think im THAT obbsessed and thats all i watch is Jim Carrey movies. When i do watch other movies...cuz i LOVE movies! But no matter what i do..I will NEVER be too tired of Jim!
Melissa
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
"Half a Pound of Nuts Mame?" ~The Process of Jim~
"He seems to be offering me berries of some kind, I'm gonna try to, try to take one, I gotta be careful, this could be a bigfoot trick"~ *Deleted Scenes* Bruce Almighty~

"That's the trouble with being me. Tired of Jim??*looks confused* What's that mean, what's that??? lol! I'd find it very hard to get tired of watching Jim movies... but about a week ago I went to a concert and got totally hyped over this band so for the past week I've been watching their DVD and not on of Jim's... does that count??? lol!

I did watch Simon Birch for the first time tho last night! I hadn't bothered until then because I knew Jim just had a cameo basically, but it was on TV so I watched it. OMG, it's such a beautiful movie! So that started my Jim watching up again!

re: tired of Jim...I don't think it's a question of getting tired of Jim...it's more of moderation. Jim doesn't rule my life...but he's there if needed...if you understand me,. If I'm down I can pop a Jim video on and cheer myself up.

Re: exactly!I watch movies with other actors I like, too. Sometimes also instead of Jim's. But that's not because I appreciate the other actors' job so much, I guess it's because I have watched Jim's movies over and over and over and sometimes I just need a break. To make sure I'll never get tired of them, hehe. And after a while I start watching them again. And always when I watch one of his movies again I realize he's the best. There's no other actor that I like so much and appreciate so much for his work and his personality. He's so special and outstanding and fascinating.
"Whatever makes you feel good when you sit down and do it,
is what you should be chasing in your life." - Jim Carrey

Re: exactly! When I was around 12 or 13, it was INSANE, I was mentally ill about Jim, it was nuts! Then I grew up, I found myself some new interests and I enjoy thinking of Jim in a more ''professional'' way... Sometimes I'll discover some new movies and artists (being a movie freak) and yes, maybe I'll think less about Jim. But then I'll see him on my wall and I'll just remember he's my favorite guy; I believe he's what's in the middle of everything I love in life!
There's nothing wrong about ''letting him go'' at some points, he represents A LOT to us, but maybe not everything... Otherwise it wouldn't be admiration, but obsession!
ANDREA
