I dunno if this has been answered or not but will the Ripley's movie be a Tim Burton out-of-the-box comedy or a serious bio?

I think it could be a reflection of man on the moon, that was supposed to be a drama but in the end it was recognised as a commedy.

How do you consider Ed Wood? It will be something like that, same screenwriters and same director, based on a real person...
They try to put the personality of the person (Ed wood, andy kaufman, ..) to the movie itself and it form. So we have to go to ripleys life and imagine the point of view of the screenwriters and Tim Burton...

Ripley's will have the additional appeal of a circus sideshow.

right now, besides what type of movie this will be, i am worried if Tim is going to use a lot CGI on the creatures or unique characters that are going to be in the movie.

I hope that Tim Burton will use his common, gothic fairytail style. Maybe it will be like "Big Fish". A movie where you don´t know if it is fiction or reality. There must be a reason why Tim Burton is the man to do this movie.

I am a little embarrassed about one thing. I havn´t seen "Nightmare before christmas" or "Corpse Bride" yet, but I really want to. "Edward Scissorhands" and "Big Fish" is two of my favourites.
