An act like that can be interpreted in so many ways. Some women can find it very humiliating and offensive... others would kill to be kissed by Jim like that... Also it's so sudden, sometimes one cannot even think on the spot. I remember vaguely Halle Berry's reaction to Adrian Brody's kiss at the 2003 Oscars -- she embraced him and seemed to have taken it welll, at least apparently... I do not know what I would do... one has to take into account the context and the whole situation.

Sure....I *do* agree. I think there's more of the "groping" charges...and even though I love Jim Carrey and appreciate his work, if he did that kind of stuff....it isn't ok. If he took it over the line...it's not ok....
Life being a journey...perhaps it's something that Jim will learn from. This world we live in is so difficult.... But as a survivor of multiple sexual abuses I can tell you....it's not pleasant. It makes you feel like shit and causes you to gain 40 pounds, because you think the problem must be YOU. "When in doubt, tell the truth."
