Sorry to hear you missed him. That was a long time to wait. But I hope you enjoyed being interviewed and got to meet other interesting Jim fans.

I thought Jim was avoiding dairy these days. Was it soy-based ice cream? Probably... or maybe he snuck a treat... ;)

Neither a diet of ice cream or Oreos is difficult to survive on.

The above sentence is full of errors, but I'm too loose and squiggly to fix it.

RE: Israel. I already had a pic of Dome of the Rock in my photobucket, because I've been thinking alot about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and whether it would EVER be settled peacefully. I kind of choked when I heard Jim was going there. Weirdly enough about three weeks ago I had a dream that I was standing in front of a wall....with scraps of paper shoved in. I just knew I was totally safe.

And I hope and I hope and I hope...because the conflict is so senseless.

Oh, and - I've heard the wailing wall is a profoundly spiritual site. I can't blame Jim for wanting some peace in which to experience it. It's hard to feel small and protected with the National Enquirer's zoom lens up your butt.

Well, if I were him, I'd have definitely gone at 3am too! You don't need the a bunch of hacks watching your every move at a moment like that.

Strangely, when *I* visited the wailing wall.....there were no paparazzi photographing my every move..... :-k
I must've lost them en route.

o.k we in shock what´s going here in Israel. Jim Carrey traveled in Israel for 4 days and fools on everyone, probably he knew he has a lot of fans in Israel and the press will load him here more then in hollywood. anyway there is guy named Yoren who live close to tel aviv and he looks very much like him, Jim´s friends ask him to important meeting and top secret to sign for them to big paycheck to be double of Jim. that Jim can travel with out a lot fo noise. he of course agree to do it. the only photos we have are in Taba (Egypt). back to King david hotel (Jerusalem) Yoren staied and the room and don´t came out. Yoren did meet Jim and gave him is T short. it´s sound crazy but it´s true. in Israel couldn´t take a picture of him, and makes the press very apset. some of them curse him. o.k i will update you very soon.

I found two articles about Jim's visit in Egypt.

The first one talks about him asking his waitress to imititate him. (Does he do this often, I wonder?) Link: http://www.intoegypt.com/docs/article_details.asp?AR_ID=809

The second one describes how hotel reception didn't recognize him bc he was wearing a traditional head scarf, and looked like Lawrence of Arabia. His friend, Wayne Fleming, traveled with him, and in error, they refer to Wayne as his manager. And he also is off his healthy eating habits when he travels! (Burgers in Egypt??)
