Jim Carrey got hit by a gigantic rag during his stand-up days.

He says, "Rock bands are notoriously hard to open for.

"I got hit with a gigantic rag soaked in something unmentionable once. It hit me right across my chest and knocked me back. That was in Canada. Most of my bad gigs were up there."
