Jim Carrey is nominated for "The Number 23" in the Worst Actor category at the 28th annual Razzie Awards. In traditional fashion, the foundation announced its annual dishonors a day before the Oscar nominations. The Razzies will be handed out -- for anyone who dares to claim them in person -- a day before the Oscars on February 23.
Jim has actually been nominated one time before. In 1995 in the category Worst New Star for "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective", "Dumb & Dumber" and "The Mask".

I guess it's just one of those things that supposed to make you humble in life. Never take anything for granted.
I guess not even being "high profile" can save you from the truth. Although to be quite honest with you, I don't see "high profile" as a synonym for talent. That's more of how you want to be seen in life, and has nothing to do with your passion for it. God bless those people who go around thinking they're "high profile." They really have to get over themselves. That's why I actually think the Razzies are a good thing. It shows that everyone, no matter what their profile, can make mistakes. Take Hallie Berry for example. One year she wins an Oscar and another she wins a Razzie. And she had the balls to attend the Razzie ceremony and accept it in person. A testament of someone who doesn't take herself too seriously and doesn't go around blaming other people for her mistakes. Not a lot of people can do that. Only those with big kahunas. The truth shall set you free.

Artistically, which statue is the best looking?....
the Oscar or the Razzie, for some strange reason, I like the Razzie better than the Oscar. Strange but true, maybe it's due to the artistic flavour it generates.
and when you receive it you give it the old razzie....
