Did anyone see the special E.T. did for John Ritter<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":("> Jim was on there talking about him. I have a question. When watching 3's company does some of the things Jack Tripper does remind you of Jim a little?

I did not see the special. Wish I did. I saw THREE'S COMPANY when it was on the air. I was about 12, and developed a huge crush on John Ritter. He made the show and everyone in the cast knew it (they said so). I was saddened by his death. What a loss!! He was so sweet!! Yes, I think his style of comedy is similar to Jim Carrey's. John Ritter would go to great lengths to make people laugh, and so does Jim Carrey.

J.T. I just saw the pics. you posted in the Varekai premiere thread. I think that those pics are from the special. Same clothes and same day. That must've been where they talked to him. I can't remember what he said because it took me by surprise. Maybe Melissa will remember?

Yea i saw it because i LOVE john ritter and there is now a huge part of me is missing and i wanted to watch it and when i was watching it i was crying my eyes out and then Jim popped out infront if my eyes and that brought a huge smile to me ( i needed a smile at that moment too) and Jim said that he and his daughter still watch threes company and there is now a big hole missing now that hes gone. Yeah, it is a sad thing and it came as such a shock. He was a funny man. I personally have always loved The Problem Child movies. I'm not sure about his son looking like Jim, but he is cute! Melanie

I have nothing against John Ritter. But I dont see any of Jim Carrey in him. I think Jim is more talented than John was honestly. Did anyone know JR's dad was a country singer?
