Discuss older Jim Carrey movies.

I read on imdb that Carrey's favorite band was Cannibal Corpse. This seems craaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy to me. Is Carrey into metal and death metal? Like fo' rill? It's just impossible for me to imagine him, a superstar hollywood guy, wearing a Slayer shirt and driving around in a fancy car kicking it to "Hammer Smashed Face" (the song featured in the movie).
Does anyone have any info? Feel free to email me too.
I've been wondering about this since 8th grade (10 years ago).
Thank you!

it's all true..........at least it was.......he says his musical tastes are pretty varied so he may not be so into them now. But certainly at the time he was into death metal and in Me, Myself & Irene he plays it in the car as Hank.........

now he likes Queen. But in other interviews he said some favorite bands of his were Foo Fighters, Tom Petty, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, and Incubus.

Jim and Michael sang "Friendly world" together on the MOTM soundtrack. It is awesome!
