first time......I'll be honest, I went in with the preconception that it was going to be a goofy kids' movie.

I was pleasantly surprised and laughing out loud at several things.

I had an "Oh no" moment when Stanley was talking to Milo as if he was human in the beginning. Because.....gulp.....that's exACTly the way I talk to my cousin's cat, who was sleeping next to me on the couch.

Then the scene where he's mixing allusions as he's pretending to die in the guy's arms....hysterical....and I probably MISSED some of them because I was laughing so hard.

I looked over at the cat  <---and she was looking at me just like that.

I said, "Sorry...kitty....it's FUNNY!"

Anyway, it was a lot of fun to watch.

I had the same reaction.

I thought it was going to be silly too, but when I watched it, I was so impressed with the things he was doing as The Mask (the dancing and singing)

You know what's weird? When that movie came out in '94, my oldest daughter was only two. We went to Taco Bell one day, and the toy prize was a green mask spinning top. Now, usually when the kids get toys like that, I always chuck it out after a while bc they break so easily.

But this green mask spinning top is still with me, and it's in excellent condition. I never threw it out bc it's such a cool toy (it's not the kind with the flat head, but the kind that looks like a pear that needs an attachment so you can pump it and it spins).
The truth shall set you free.

I find it hard to enjoy this movie. I loved it as a kid, but I see it as a kiddie movie. I like bits of it, but most of it makes me feel embarrassed.

Did you have an absolute favourite part?

The guns that display 'BANG' are quite funny!

"Now you have to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky today? Well, do ya, punks?" Love it when he does Clint, lol.

There's just so much rapid fire subtle and unsubtle jokes that I will probably watch it again because I'm SURE I missed a few things.

Basically, anytime he was "The Mask" I was busting up.

There are many many good dialogues...its very entertaining overall.

I like the part when the reporter turns him in....to the crooks  very unexpected moment.

Tell it sistah! I forgot. Didn't you just think he was going to wind up with her???

I made little "ta -da!" noises at the unpredictable plot twist.

The part where he was pretending to be two different people was brilliant. He kept having to walk off and come back as the other one.
