Jim's autograph auctioned for $20On a good day, actors Jim Carrey and Tom Cruise earn more than $20 million per film. Between them, their autographed photos went for $20. But every dollar adds up and goes toward buying the library a new supply of children's books. Fran Keller, the library's director of marketing, works year-round writing to celebrities asking them to donate something to the cause. http://www.ydr.com/newsfull/ci_5522945
Big Bird's sold more!
"No time outs. Only DEATH!"
"I don't like to brag and I won't cuz I don't have to!"
It seems sad that his autograph was sold for so much less than what Big Bird's autograph. Big Bird is a cartoon that I use to watch when I was little, watching PBS. I'm kinda suprised it sold for $20. My friend is an avid fan of Rocky Horror Picture Show and he got an autograph picture of Tim Curry as Frank N Furter. He paid $60. The thing is, it's worth more than that. He has the ONLY COPY of that picture. There is no other picture. The ink is authentic because I've examined it and so have 4 other people.
Maybe it's because probably every single fan of Jim's has a copy or an autograph from him ( I don't, I've tried). Who knows? I don't know...maybe I'm just rambling....sorry. Schmoyoho-oh-oh-oh accent on the YO!
^ yeah, seriously!
I've noticed (while surfing ebay for fun) people can fake an autograph and make alot! As long as someone thinks a person is famous they'll do anything to meet that person, get memorobilia, and get anything having to do with that person. It's crazy! "No time outs. Only DEATH!"
"I don't like to brag and I won't cuz I don't have to!"
I think his new one should be thePhotoshopped Mona Lisa...
sooo funnny! Love it!
