I had my weekly fix of Spotless mind last night, and I noticed some flashed pictures I'd not caught before. I had to pause it on my DVD player to see them, its just after Clementine says meet me in Montauk at the bottom of the stairs and Joel is in the car remembering flash backs, there about 5 of these flashed pictures.

Awww, yeah, I totally want to hug Joel when he looks like that! All alone in the back seat... it does break your heart. But nice acting by Jim, yes!! I could watch that movie 100 times.

I loved the part when the house was melting into the ocean. To me, it was so symbolic of what its like to have a memory (a really good one) that begins to slip away. You still smell the fresh paint!

Yep, those quick flashbacks are real "pause and slo-mo" moments aren't they?? Real intimate too. Such a great part of the film.....
