One could eat it but not in the mornig and in general I don't do so. But I have heard that people like it in England very much. Hmmm, could be something for the LSAOPACT, i guess .

I don't know where the traditions came from but..
In our family we ate Beans on Toast for Lunch.
On occasion we still do, but make sure your not around
too many people later.
Lot's of protein and whole wheat toast is even better.
WHAT , THIS IS A NORMAL MEAL , probably for those of us in large families and tight budgets.

I have never had english beans in tomato sauce so maybe that is good on toast. I thought you were talking about Bush beans.lol
