My father's name was unusual. At the time he was born there was a big band headed by bandleader Kay Kyser. (Not sure if I'm spelling it right.)
My grandma has a letter from the bandleader thanking her for naming their son after him.
It's probably in the hope chest. I should ask where the heck that is.

Jim got one from Carol Burnett. Or her people anyway. When he was 10.

ERm, I've had to try and remember...lol....it was Paul Lacoux. He played Dr David Rowe! Yes, I'm sure you remember him well now...
Oh, and I forgot to say I got a phonecall from the wife of actor Kevin McNally (Pirates of the Carribean) in the '80s thanking me for my lovely letter to him.
Friend of the stars...tha's me!

Imagine if one day you'll start to get letters from your fans.
Few years ago a girl ran to me screaming "Oh my god! Are you Alena Shlatgauer?!!" I was like "Y-y-yeah..." "Oh my god! I heard so much about you!!!"...
I was like "a-a..."
I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us...very hard to explain why you're mad, even if you're not mad...

Don't worry, I got the letter from him and I just had to sit and think for five minutes what his name was. He was very sweet though, I remember that. I was possibly the only person who'd ever written him a fan letter!

I wrote a letter to a senator when I was 14. He wrote me back and said I had influenced him in voting to save the North California coast. It was hand written and signed and my teacher said it was unusual, because many people had written him and recieved no response.

Wow!
Can you write to him again and ask to save Alena Shlatgauer from Department of Hospitalisation and Immigration?

Is this happening in New York? This was in California, but they should have the Senators and Congressmen listed in the phonebook with their addresses.
