Duet

Ooh, and I have another couple of songs that I would sing with Jim..."Into the Great Wide Open" and/or "Learning to Fly" by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. Another one of my favourite bands!!

Sometimes a song needs to fit the voice!

Postby Canadian Jayne » Mon Nov 08, 2004 8:32 pm

There are alot of great songs out there I love, but some of them are
totally no good for my voice.
I was having a game of chess with my son and he had a music dvd on,
I was humming along and he told me to be quiet, I said "I thought you
liked the song" he said" you're ruining my concentration" I reminded
him of how he was recently kicked out of class for clicking a pencil
against the desk in class, he was irritating the teacher "Now you know,
how it feels". I stopped singing,
he won the game, as usual.

I'm a HUGE Beatles fan too!!!! Maybe I would sing "I am the Walrus" with him b/c he has practice with that one. At first I was going to pick "Let me Roll it" 'cause its one of my favs but someone picked it. I would really like to sine "Maybe I'm Amazed" by Paul McCartney with him too, teehee.

Yah, "Maybe I'm Amazed"
That's a really good song, I agree. 8)
There is a picture of Jim and Paul McCartney on the Getty images
you have to go pretty far into it to see it, looks excellent though.

I would love to sing "How deep is your love" By the Bee Gees with Jim. I am sure he would get a good laugh at my horrible voice.lol

And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love and then softly leave
And it’s me you need to show

How deep is your love
I really need to learn
’cause we’re living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me ~ Bee Gees
